Online Backup

We are currently evaluating an upgrade of our backup systems which will provide our clients with an online backup solution. Our intention is to make the backup of users' registered datasets (Sage 50 companies) visible to them through a secure website, and also to allow users to take backups of their own systems to their secure online backup area. This will provide access to a storage area on our SAN (Storage Area Network) on which we have Terabytes of space. Within this storage area users will be able to not only access their Online50 data but also store backups of their own local systems. The solution we are implementing will allow the client to run software on their own computer and at the click of a button would then backup your system to our SAN. This gives you the security of our infrastructure and a huge amount of storage space.

The provision of access to the backups of the registered datasets will be free of charge to all users. Storing additional backups will be charged under our standard data storage tariff.
